Born in the UK in 1982, although now resident in both Berlin and London, Vonna-Michell combines storytelling, performance and installation in rapid-fire, highly compelling monologues.

Weaving responses to historical events into scenarios that are part research, part personal history and part fiction, Vonna-Michell is rapidly emerging as one of the most important live artists of the moment.
