Martin Creed was born in 1968 and trained at the Slade,
London.
His work is marked by a gentle yet subversive
sense of humour, and a constant questioning of the nature of art itself.
A Turner Prize winner, Creed's work has been exhibited widely, and despite
its apparent simplicity, represents a highly individual and thematically
complex artistic practice.
