Mark Leckey (born 1964 in Birkenhead, UK) works primarily with installation and film.
He is especially interested in the effects and dissemination of popular culture - particularly music - and much of his work has focused on the "tawdry but somehow romantic elegance of certain aspects of British culture".
Leckey was awarded the prestigious Turner Prize in 2008.
