The multi-talented Kim Hiorthøy (b. 1973) is a Norwegian film-maker, graphic designer, recording artist and DJ; he also happens to produce beautifully crafted drawings.

Interweaving tightly controlled figurative elements with looser, more gestural marks, Hiorthøy's work is testament to the extraordinary depth and range pencil drawing can achieve.
