Belgian artist Wim Delvoye is well known for his extravagant, witty and often controversial artworks, which range from tattoed pigs to X-ray images of sex acts.
A fascination with the ornate Gothic architecture typical of his homeland is reflected in a fantastical take on construction vehicles such as mechanical diggers and cement mixers, several of which have been created as full-scale sculptures, as well as smaller models like that shown here.
