Martin Sexton

UK artist Martin Sexton's work examines a wide and diverse range of themes, but is characteristically poetic in nature and often unorthodox in execution.

His intriguing head of John the Baptist apparently defies gravity by seeming to float, without visible means of support, in the a richly ornamented reliquary-like cabinet in which it is displayed.
